How much total tax and SSN does a contractor pay in NY? ?
I want to know the total contribution, Federal and State. The employer does not directly employee the contractor so my guess is that the contractor pays the payroll taxes and all the other items like SS etc.

- You are self employed or independent contractor. You will report your income and expenses on schedule C or C-EZ (Form 1040). This income is subject to SE tax at 15.3%.
