i want to get a car seized by the government, but they all want me to pay extra for nothing?

I know you can get cars real cheap at the police auctions and stuff.I've looked for info online but all of the sites want me to register and pay them a monthly fee just to look at what they have.WTF!Don't they take enough of our money.

  1. Do not pay for information about government or impound auctions. All that information is available for free. The web sites that you refer to just provide you with information they collected for free. They will provide you a list of very few auctions that will most likely be of no intrest to you. Look in your local newspaper for information about local police auctions, they are most often found in the notices or legal section of the classified adds. You can also call the police and get information on when they hold there impound auctions. It is hard to get a 'good' car through impound auctions because most of the cars they handle where abandoned. Government auctions can be found in the agencies web site, some government auctions can also be found at http://usasearch.gov/search?v%3Aproject=firstgov-web&query=auctions, www.bid4assets.com/storefront/index.cfm?viewall=862&sfid=21#a862 or www.drms.dla.mil/sales/ and www.govliquidation.com/. But to buy a car for one of the national auctions you have to pay to ship the car to you and can be more than the car is worth .
