principles of marketing?
I just need some help on this question please Your company is considering targeting the federal government since that strategy could bring quite a bit of new business. List and describe three advantages and three disadvantages of working in a contract situation with the federal government. How would you advise your company leadership? Should they pursue government contracts? How would you justify your recommendation?

- It would matter what your company is dealing with. Advantages: large contracts/new leads with other companies Disadvantages: Costs are usually locked for long periods. If your costs rise, you may not be able to up your prices because your tied into a contract/ You also may have to follow government guidelines which are not feasible to your company. Pretty much a gloss over, but at least it gives you a start.
- I am a marketing teacher and I advise 100% of my students and clients --do NOT rely on ANY government bodies as consistent clients. they require RFPs, huge time leads, and payments are according their schedules; not your needs or invoices. While it is a fact that many businesses raise their price 2-5x to accommodate the HORRENDOUS waits, it is not usually worth it.
