Question about contracts?
Suppose a business went into contract with the government AND suppose a store/outlet purchases federal/military surplus, what provisions might they need to include in the contract that might not be required in a typical consumer or commercial contract? There's one thing that I've come up with - Congress has to approve the surplus being purchased or exchanged, as far as military/federal surplus is concerened. Also another, there has to be a transitional agreement (is this requried in a typical commercial or consumer contract?). Thanks in advance. P.S. Could you add the source of where you retrieved your info from? I would really like to look more into contract law for government, federal, military, and business.

- I found the question a bit confusing - but if you're asking whether Congress has to approve the sale of military surplus, the answer is a qualified yes. Congress typically allows the military to sell material certified as surplus - but Congress doesn't approve the sale on an item by item basis, but rather in bulk.
