- sounds like you need to set a reserve price, there should be a box to fill in a price, below which you wont sell.
- yea..you have 2 sell. unless u like never ship it...then they will send u an email b4 theey pay asking u if u still wanna sell-just say no. You really should have set a reserve price or something!
- Also, try a trading assistant if you have high priced items. Go to ebay, click on site map and then click on trading assistant which is listed under selling resources. These people are power sellers and know how to sell. There are no upfront fees. You just pay them a negotiated percentage.
- If you did not set a reserve price, where you only sell if the price of the item reaches the amount you want, and if people bid on it, you are required to sell it. If you have more than 12 hours then you can cancel the listing. But if time runs out, then you risk the anger and complaints of the buyer If you don't sell the item here are the possible consequences - buyer reports you for Items Not Received or Significantly Not as Described violation http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/inr-snad-policy.html - buyer leaves you negative feedback
- look around to find out how to set a reserve price. that's the BEST way!
- What you need to do is start the auction at $500 or start the auction price at about $400 and set reserve at $500 +. Matt
