hello everyone, does anyone know if federal contractors are required to pay taxes like all regular employees??

- Yes. There is no break just because the customer is the federal government.
- Yes, definitely - working for the feds doesn't change anything. A contractor pays both the employer and employee halves of social security, and usually has to make quarterly estimated payments. That's because they're a contractor, and has nothing to do with whether they work for the feds or someone else.
