1. check sba.gov (Small Business Administration) There is lots of info on starting a business, writing a business plan and getting federal loans. There is also a link to find a SCORE counselor near you who can assist! Good luck! (also info on fed loans for minorities)
2. Go to http://www.score.org/ and in the upper left hand corner, enter your zip code. On the next screen, you will get information on the nearest SCORE chapter. Call them and arrange for a free meeting with a SCORE counselor.
