how do you report internet scams by users of your website?
One of your users is perpetrating a scam whereby he posts a profile as a tragic widower w/ a young son on a singles' website and forms a romantic relationship just prior to leaving on a short-term government teaching contract for Nigeria. Before he goes he freezes his bank accounts and credit cards (for his own security) While away, and with daily multiple frequent ptofessions of undying love and imminent future marriage, he encounters countless problems there, all requiring funds (rapidly exhausting the supposed $10,000.00 he brought w/ him), the final being that his son falls ill, develops a brain tumor and must have immediate surgery or he will go insane! Of course w/ his accounts & cards frozen, only you can wire the money to save his son's sanity and life (not, not, not!!!!!)His bank can't do this because there is no similar bank branch in Nigeria (hogwash)!!! I have all printouts and a background check on this internet scam artist.so please contact me and let's stop him!! I contacted local police, They said that since I didn't send the money, that tecnically , Y wan't a victim and that I should contact the ISP for iwas a federal crime to try to use the internet to perpetrate such scams. So, that is what I am trying to do. But I haven't been ab;e to get a valid reporting site from MSN or YAHOO. I am only out a few hundred dollars in phone calls, but I guarantee that someone else will or has been takemn in by this !!!

- If you are in the US, contact the FBI, and show them what you got. Or a local police dept.
- You report Internet Scam by users of your website by opening the mail sent to you by your scummier or opening the suspected scam message and click delete; by checking the delete box. Then a message will be prompted asking you is the checked message for deletion should be reported as scam, you then choose YES for report and click OK. Then the message will be deleted and the same time reported as scam.
