Can you imagine if Dennis Kucinich won the presidency in 08?

http://kucinich.us/ These are the elements of the Kucinich 12-Point Plan for Iraq: 1. The US announces it will end the occupation, close military bases and withdraw. 2. US announces that it will use existing funds to bring the troops and necessary equipment home. 3. Order a simultaneous return of all US contractors to the United States and turn over all contracting work to the Iraqi government. 4. Convene a regional conference for the purpose of developing a security and stabilization force for Iraq. 5. Prepare an international security and peacekeeping force to move in, replacing US troops who then return home. 6. Develop and fund a process of national reconciliation. 7. Reconstruction and Jobs. 8. Reparations. 9. Political Sovereignty. 10. Iraq Economy. 11. Economic Sovereignty. 12. International Truth and Reconciliation. And our loved ones wouldn't die. Think about that one. Bill - then by definition he in fact does have a better chance than you. Although I agree he will not win. If you addressed my question though that would be better.

  1. No, I can't imagine Kucinich winning the presidency, but then I'm not on drugs.
  2. Dennis Kucinich has about as much chance of becoming president as I do, and I'm not even running.
  3. Sounds like a good plan to me. Better than Bush's plan to keep marching American kids to their deaths for no good reason. W tried to prove he was smarter than his dad, who was every adamant that an invasion and occupation of Iraq was a no-win situation. Bush 41 was no genius but "boy George" is sure making him look like one.
  4. As much as I like Kucinich, I dont think he has a snowballs chance in hell of winning.
  5. I thought this was going to be Kucinich bashing...but those proposals don't sound too bad.
  6. He is far and away the BEST CANDIDATE for President; unfortunately, a huge part of the electorate is still living in the Middle Ages, so his chances are less than slim to below none; the U.S. will therefore continue following the "Roman path" to inevitable self-destruction under another cookie-cutter presidency.
  7. I have lived in Cleveland since 1972. During that time, I have watched Kucinich, first as the disgraced "boy" mayor, then as a state legislator, and now as a Congressman. Dennis is an egomanic who absolutely craves the national limelight. Will he ever be elected President? No. But he will continue to run...election cycle after election cycle...in an effort to feed his own ego. He is the Alf Landon of his generation. Very few, even in his own party, take either him or his plan seriously. If you look closely at Dennis' plan, there is one thing he isn't factoring in...the terrorists. He is a very sad joke. And the saddest thing is that the only one who doesn't see it, is himself. Or, I should say, himself, his wife, and the poor deluded people in his district who keep electing him to the House.
  8. I'm a veteran from the state of OHIO and I think that he should never become President of the USA. I think that he is an opportunist. I don't know why people vote for him. He is a disgrace to our state and country.
  9. I watched him a few weeks ago on CSPAN and he actually is backing off of a quick withdrawal. I supported him in 2004 btw when he said we should get out now. As far as 08 and him winning, I like the guy and think that would be great for the country. I just don't see it happening.
  10. I can't even imagine that troll skidmark in congress. It is sad when cousins marry!
  11. Looks like I'm the third responder from Ohio who can't believe his constituents keep electing him to office. He will never be President and thank God for that!!!!! He is so anti-military it's disgusting. There are many reasons why he's known as The Boy Blunder.
