Why would the Federal Government need to contract companies like Blackwater to deal with disasters...?
The Federal Government contracted Blackwater to "assist" with Hurricane Katrina. Why would the Federal Government need to do this? Were they not adequately prepared and or equipped to deal with a disaster such as this? Also, should the Federal Government be contracting companies such as Blackwater to police civilians like this?
