- Maybe bigoted, hate filled policies are the reason why Howard was thumped at the recent election and unceremoniously dumped out of office. Therefore, since he is no longer PM, the world no longer cares what he thinks about anything.
- So, some will always see a Nation's wish to retain and protect it's own identity and culture as "bigoted", personally I see it as this. 1. These comments are simply a reflection of current 1st world thoughts. 2. Most people work on the simple axiom that you should treat people as you would wish to be treated yourself. The Western world does not and would not expect other cultures within other countries to alter to the benefit of western cultures (at least since the Empire building ended a hundred plus years ago *). Those cultures should not expect the country in which they reside (outside of their home country) to alter their method/laws etc. The above of course is simply the tip of the ice-burg. Globalisation will give us many more and often much worse instances of this type.

- Totally right, England needs to take a leaf out of the australian book. Like, if they want to come to england they need to act english by that i mean wear proper clothes not those stupid burka things and PULL DOWN THEM MOSQES!!!! (dont know how to spell mosks, but oh well, im not a muslim)
