Can a non-profit seek federal contracts as a government contractor?

I want interested in knowing whether a non-profit could provide services to the government as a federal contractor or subcontract with a prim contractor? I know that the purpose of being a non-profit is to utilize the "profit" to support the actual business and flow back into the community.

  1. Of course they can.
  2. If you do not want to have to research all of the info yourself, you can take a trial run of a grant kit program. Just cancel before the end of the trial. That way you can see what type of money you might be able to get for your business. http://findfreegrantmoney.com
  3. Sure you can... but you will have to show the Feds you are financially viable...
