what is the salary of a contract central government employee ?

Our department is a central government department, and we are not recieving the wages stated by the 6th pay commission till date. what shall we do? Please suggest me. I am a contract employee in a central government department, the authority of our department doesn't pay us central 6th pay norms for the contract/casual employee which was stated in swami service book. To which authority should we complain about this ? please do suggest me please.

1. Peculiar rather impossible matter.Central govt employees are entitled to receive wages at the scale awarded by the 6th CPC. Your question is confusing also. In the heading it is said "contract central Government employee" while in the body of the question our department is a central govt. deptt. If you are in the contract service or your office is with contract service with a central govt deptt, you will not be treated as central govt. employee. Who is your employer ? central Government ? if not you are not a Govt. employee thus does not deserves Govt. scale of pay.Contract services are not treated as the employee on the Govts pay role, though the works related to Govt. deptt. Let me provide an example, Railway's catering is a contract service/ business with private firms. So the catering workers are the employees of that business man though working with Railways.Rlys were having their own catering deptt and their employees enjoyed govt. pay scale. Your case is similar, as I guess.
