I whole heartedly agree with the above. However, John Howard is no longer the Prime Minister of Australia.
As far as America goes in that rant.. Freedom of religion is in our constitution, unless you're saying that should be changed. In which case, why shouldn't it be changed on other issues as well? It's a can of worms that shouldn't be opened. We also have no national language here. It'd probably make things easier if we did, but no big business/corporation (the people who "matter" to the government) is going to abide by such a thing when it gives them so much opportunity to make money when they can hire people who know no English to solicit to people who know the same language they do.
What, did you just make this up? Australians wouldn't vote for such a blatant racist. Also, newpapers don't put CAPS into speeches It makes me sad that people can actually believe this sort of thing. It really does.
