Is there a way you can sign up your construction business........?

Is there a way you can sign up your construction business to receive any type of notification from the state or government for new residential or commercial jobs that will be opening in the future? That way your business has an opportunity to bid on them. Is there a certain form you should use when you bid for certain contractors? Need help with the whole bidding. Is there a website that will help me?Please help. Serious answers only.

1. My husbands company uses the last one. It's great. His email is bombarded. He's a GC, CM and such. I'm not sure if your a subcontractor or vendor, you really should send out a request to be placed on their bidder's list to any GC's in your area. they'll send you a Bidders Questionnaire which will ask you alot of questions about your business, including insurance, bonding capabilities. How much your company has made. What projects you have completed as well as what you have on hand. But then, if your approved, you'll be the first one contacted if they have any jobs bidding.
